The biannual Nordiska Backgammon Open Championship Its time to find the best backgammon player at Nordiska! The tournament will be played out at the 7th of November starting from 10:00 in the morning. Sign in is at 9:45. Entry fee pr. player is 20 CHF. The money collected will uncut be paid out as prize money. Prizes will be split into several portions so that everybody attending has a reasonable chance to win a (smaller) prize. Last championship both beginners and seasoned players attended and it is hoped for that this will be the case again. All attending players are guaranteed to have at least 3 matches. Due to time constraints max. 32 players can enter the tournament. The tournament is open for non-members but Nordiska members have preference. We aim to finish at 17, so there's time to take a shower before the party/concert later on in the evening. There will be a sausage pr. player and some bread to eat at lunchtime.No breakfast besides instant coffee. Food donations/sponsors are welcome :-) At 9:30 there's be a session where the official backgammon rules will be presented.
